Write an llms.txt for my site
A prompt for Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor with AskYourStack connected to your server.
Best for
Giving ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and other AI assistants a clean map of your site, in the llms.txt format. Works with no server; on a server plan your AI can put the file in place.
What you get
A ready llms.txt: the site's name and summary, its key pages grouped by section with one-line descriptions, built from your sitemap and pages, and where to put it.
The prompt
Using AskYourStack, write an llms.txt for <domain>.
If Search Console is connected, take the 20 pages with the most clicks from gsc_performance_overview. Then call llms_txt with site <domain> and those pages as urls. Show me the file, point out pages that should be added or left out, and suggest a two-line summary if the one from the home page is weak. Do not publish it until I say so; then save it as llms.txt in the site's web root if it runs on one of my servers, or tell me where to upload it.
How to use it
- Connect your server to AskYourStack with the one-line install, and add your AskYourStack MCP address to your AI client (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code).
- Paste the prompt and fill in the parts in angle brackets.
- Your AI looks at the server first, explains its plan, and asks for your approval before anything destructive. How approvals work.
