Which of my pages Google has not indexed, and why
A prompt for Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor with AskYourStack connected to your server.
Best for
Checking that the pages in your sitemap are really in Google, grouped by the reason they are not. Needs Search Console connected; works on every plan.
What you get
Sitemap pages grouped by Google's own coverage reason (crawled not indexed, duplicate with another canonical, blocked, not found), with example URLs and the fix for each group.
The prompt
Using AskYourStack, check which pages of <domain> Google has not indexed and why.
Read the submitted sitemaps with gsc_sitemaps and audit them with sitemap_check. Take up to 60 important URLs from the sitemap (the home page, main categories or sections, and the pages with the most clicks from gsc_performance_overview) and run gsc_inspect_url on them in groups of 20. Group the results by Google's coverage reason, give example URLs for each group, and say what usually causes it and how to fix it. If a server is connected, check the canonical tags and robots rules the site sends for the problem pages. Change nothing.
How to use it
- Connect your server to AskYourStack with the one-line install, and add your AskYourStack MCP address to your AI client (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code).
- Paste the prompt and fill in the parts in angle brackets.
- Your AI looks at the server first, explains its plan, and asks for your approval before anything destructive. How approvals work.
