Low click-through rate

Pages Google shows on page one that nobody clicks

A page in the top ten with a click-through rate far below what its position usually earns is losing visitors it has already won. Your AI finds those pages in Search Console, shows the queries they rank for, and writes titles and descriptions that answer them.

How your AI does it

  1. STEP 1

    Connect Search Console

Sign up free, connect Google read-only and pick your property.

  2. STEP 2

    Find the gap

gsc_opportunities compares each page-one page's CTR with the usual CTR for its position and lists the ones under half of it, with their top queries and the clicks at stake.

  3. STEP 3

    Check what is above them

Your AI reads the current title and description, and on paid plans the live Google results, to see whether a rich result, an AI overview or ads push the page down.

  4. STEP 4

    New titles and descriptions

A table with the new title (under 60 characters) and description (under 155) for each page, written for the query it ranks for.

What you get

  • Page-one pages earning under half the usual clicks for their position
  • The queries each page ranks for
  • Clicks at stake per page
  • The current title and description next to new ones
  • What else sits on the results page (paid plans)
  • Structured data that could win a rich result (paid plans)

Questions

What counts as a low CTR?

Under half of what pages at that position usually get. Position 3 usually earns around 10% of the clicks; a page at position 3 with 3% is flagged.

Will the AI change my titles?

Not on the SEO plans: you get the new text to paste in. On a server plan or a connected WordPress site your AI can write them as drafts or, with your approval, on the site.

Why would a page get few clicks even with a good title?

Rich results, AI overviews, ads or a map pack can sit above it. Your AI checks the live results for that, so you do not rewrite a title that was never the problem.
