Index coverage

Which of your pages Google has not indexed, and why

A page that is not indexed cannot rank. Your AI takes the pages that matter from your sitemaps and your traffic, asks Google about each one with URL Inspection, and groups the problems by Google's own reason, with example addresses and the fix.

How your AI does it

  1. STEP 1

    Connect Search Console

Sign up free, connect Google read-only and pick your property.

  2. STEP 2

    Pick the pages

Your AI reads your submitted sitemaps and your top pages by clicks, so the check covers what matters first.

  3. STEP 3

    Ask Google

gsc_inspect_url checks up to 20 URLs a call: indexed or not, the reason, the canonical Google chose, the last crawl and robots.txt.

  4. STEP 4

    Fix by group

Problems grouped by reason (crawled but not indexed, duplicate with another canonical, blocked, not found), each with examples and the usual fix. On a server plan your AI checks the canonical tags and robots rules the site sends.

What you get

  • Google's own verdict for each page, from URL Inspection
  • Problems grouped by coverage reason
  • The canonical Google chose against the page's own
  • Submitted sitemaps with errors and warnings
  • Sitemap audits: limits, lastmod, status codes (paid plans)
  • The fix for each group

Start with this prompt

Paste it into your AI with AskYourStack connected. It fetches the matching playbook and explains its plan before changing anything.

Using AskYourStack, check which pages of <domain> Google has not indexed and why. Read the submitted sitemaps with gsc_sitemaps and audit them with sitemap_check. Take up to 60 important URLs from the sitemap (the home page, main categories or sections, and the pages with the most clicks from gsc_performance_overview) and run gsc_inspect_url on them in groups of 20. Group the results by Google's coverage reason, give example URLs for each group, and say what usually causes it and how to fix it. If a server is connected, check the canonical tags and robots rules the site sends for the problem pages. Change nothing.

Questions

How many pages can it check?

Google allows about 2,000 URL inspections a day per property. Your AI checks the important pages first, 20 at a time.

What does crawled, currently not indexed mean?

Google fetched the page and chose not to index it, usually because it looks thin or too close to another page. Your AI shows which pages and what they have in common.

Can it fix the problems?

On a server plan, yes, with your approval: canonical tags, robots rules, redirects and sitemaps on the server. On the SEO plans you get the fixes to apply.
